The last Tuesday in November wasn’t a typical workday at Alliance Bank. In between clients, bankers were making some very special deliveries. Alliance Bank delivered donations totaling $32,500 to 19 non-profit organizations across Benton, Jasper, Pulaski, and White Counties on Giving Tuesday. Click here to watch our video.
“One piece of our mission as a community bank is to invest in our local communities,” shared Bank President and CEO Shane Pilarski. “It’s not unusual to see our employees in their Alliance green shirts at local events and supporting organizations with their time. This year has been strong for the bank; it is a privilege to be able to increase our financial support to valuable non-profits on Giving Tuesday.”
Bank leadership empowered employees to determine how the extra gifts would be allocated. Focused on the priorities of agriculture, community development, and childcare, each employee was able to designate $500 to the organization of their choice. The real fun came when they got to deliver the checks on Giving Tuesday, surprising many organizations and learning more about the work they do.
