The Alliance Bank Junior Board of Directors had the opportunity to visit Polymer Science in Monticello, Indiana during the month of October. Audrey Dickinson discussed her financial moment about the rising value of bitcoin, after Jaylen Huddleston shared information about the non-profit, Peaceable Primate Sanctuary.
Our host Darcy Selby began our meeting by explaining what products Polymer Science creates. She also gave us a backstory about her career development at Polymer Science. After finishing our lunch, Darcy led us on a tour of the business. We learned about all of the equipment and employees within, giving us a better understanding of how the company operates.
Polymer Science is a company that makes adhesives, tapes, and coatings. They sell to investors all around the world. Many militaries purchase their products to help prevent bleeding out due to wounds. Although it is a rather small company, they do a great job at perfecting each of their products before shipping, while also selling thousands in a year. For more information call 1.888.533.7004. Polymer Science is located at 2577 S Freeman Rd, Monticello, IN 47960.
During the presentation Darcy Selby shared, “We started out only selling to one company and are now selling all around the world.”
