The Alliance Bank Junior Board of Directors had the opportunity to meet at Pulaski Memorial Hospital in Winamac, during the month of November. Board members got to meet various staff members about and ask questions about the hospital. We learned about the different roles and positions required to operate the hospital. Students had the chance to tour the hospital and observe its operations up close! We split up into 2 different groups so that we could see the entire facility. The tour gave us a deeper understanding of the important roles each position plays. We got to see a behind the scenes look of the hospital and leaned how different departments work together to provide quality healthcare to the community.

Pulaski Memorial Hospital is a healthcare facility committed to serving the community’s health needs with excellence. Founded with a mission to provide accessible, high-quality medical care, Pulaski Memorial Hospital has grown over the years to implement advanced technology and innovative practices. Today, it stands as a vital healthcare resource for residents of Winamac and surrounding areas. Thanks to everyone at Pulaski Memorial Hospital for this amazing opportunity!

The Alliance Bank Junior Board of Directors is comprised of Juniors and Seniors from North White, Twin Lakes, West Central and Winamac High Schools. The students typically apply at the end of their Sophomore year for a two-year term on the Board. The students have monthly meetings throughout the school year on location at a variety of local businesses and non-profits. Students learn about the organization and career opportunities in their community. Junior Board members also volunteer together throughout the year at various community events and non-profits.
